39 teams were greeted with breezy conditions for the 4th event for the Havasu Region of the Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota.  

Taking the win was the team of Craig McCoy and Al Robinson.  Craig and Al brought in a limit weighing 23.94lbs anchored by a 7.34lb largemouth which also earned them the days big fish.  All together Craig and Al took home $1,870 plus a SPRO tackle pack.

Finishing in second place was the Mike Williams and Jerry Fischer with 20.47lbs,  Mike and Jerry also had the days second big fish coming in with a 5.6lb largemouth.  Their winnings totaled $1,240,

Rounding out the top 3 was the team Danny Locatis and Gary Thein.  Danny and Gary weighed 17.53lbs earning them $770

Jeff Meeks and David Meeks earned the DJ Custom Jigs for finishing first out of the money.

Paul Tassie and Ross Baker have taken over the point lead in the Taipan Rods Angler of the Year race.  Paul and Ross hold a 6 point lead over Richard Vizcarra and Charlie Crawford. 

Our next event for the Havasu Region is February 28 here on Lake Havasu.  Anglers can register for the early draw at Anderson Toyota on Friday February 27 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.  Teams can also register at Windsor launch ramp on Saturday morning.
